Hi, I would like to connect codec PCM4201EVM board to DSK5416 Board. Thus, I connected PINS BCK, FSYNC, SDOUT and GND from PCM4201EVM to PINS DC_BCLKR0, DC_FSR0,DC_BDR0 respectively on DSK5416 board using external peripheral (P2). The PCM4201EVM is working in master mode and generate BCK and FSYNC. Using this plugging i'm opening McBsp0 and put clock mode and Frame sync to external. Looking...

Hello all, I got the same problem when trying to boot my DSP in Standard Serial(16 bit mode) Boot. I have connected the MSP430 to feed the SCLK, FS and BRx (Starting with bit #15 to bit#0) to the McBSP0 of our TMS320C54CST. I can see first 5-6 words are going fine to DSP (like 0x10AA, 0x0018, ....) but some how after around 1800uS the XF pin goes up, which I suspect cause of the pro...

i have a 2k x 8bit dpram in 5402's io space, now my problem is how to access the 2k io space continue in accembly. read through the user guide of c5x instruction, it seemed that the io space can only be access by a single address, ex: port( PA) = Smem port(7h) = @OUTDAT ; OUTDAT .equ 07h the PA is a immediatly value. how can i access a continue io address? thanks!

I all, I'm reading this DSP's Data Manual (Literature Number: SPRS180C) and I see that it has - ON CHIP registers from address 0x00 to 0x1F - Pheriperals Memory Mapped Registers from 0x20 to 0x5F What I don't understand is the "sub addressing" method used to access the registers.. In particular, with reference to the Data Manual, I can't figure out the addressing in Table 3-3. Texas Ins...
