Hello all: I am having trouble with obtaining the correct configuration for this setup: 1. ATEME's IEKC64 with C6416 Dsp, Silicon Rev 1.03 2. Code Composer Studio 2.2 3. XDS560 Emulator I did not have to use the emulator's drivers since there is a driver that comes with CCS 2.2. My problem is, after a complete install and restart, I do not see my configuration in the "Available configuration" tab of CCS Setup and there dont seem to be any .dvr files that I can import to get this one on. The right configuration I am supposed to use for my setup is: "C6414,15,16 Rev 1.0x XDS560 Emulator" - and this doesnt appear. The closest I see is "C64xx Rev 1.0 XDS560 Emulator". Could someone tell me if which update I need to get the CCS Setup right ? I did contact TI a few times but didn't find an answer. I am also attaching a screenshot of the correct setup that I found (luckily) from TI. Any help would be really appreciated, Thanks in advance, Anand __________________________________ | |||

C6416 IEK with CCS 2.20 and XDS560

Thanks for your help. I figured that the required update was: 2.20.18 However, it would be nice if someone could tell me how to choose the Clock (TCLK) in the "Board Properties" tab of CCS Setup tool. I chose "User Defined" and left the value at 1, ("Automatic" will not start up CCS) and then the system is really slow. For e.g. file write onto host disk from the IEK is happening at like 2 KB / sec; Im sure the XDS560 can run faster than that :) ! Thanks in advance for any help. Anand,
I am sure that was s-l-o-w. You must use a user defined TCLK value
for 1.0x devices. I believe that the value that you enter in is 2x the
desired clock rate. Ti's default configuration used 10 mhz [I cranked
mine to 20 mhz and had no problems].
