...Noise in mic input from AD535 , in 6711DSK ....

Started by M Bilal December 13, 2005
Hi every one... :)
...
I hope all of u would be fine out there...
...
I wrote an application to take samples from the microphone using
through AD535 using MCBSP0...on 6711DSK board
...
It gives me 16 bit samples that I simple route to the speaker through writing
them onto the MCBSP0's transmitter. (After anding it with 0xfffe)
...but doing so it gets so much noise incorporated in it...

I did also use the Log_printf(...) to display the 16 bit sample hex values on the
screen....
They were in range f6xx to f9xx
... i.e f752 for example....
...
I am not getting it that, why its having so much noise in it...
...
I did also change the Gain values and other things and checkd the result...
it was the same...
...
I know there is some thing silly present that I am un able to get...
...
It successfully and clearly generated the tone on the spaker, but when
it comes to take samples from mic, it gets so much noise incorporated...
....
I did also check the Digital Loop Back options in the control registers of
the AD535....
...
I am just stuck... :(
...
If any one of u could kindly help me....
I can send u the code also..
..
Looking for the kind response...
...
Plz....
...
Thanks alot...
