Hi Damien,
I have the exact same issue/problem as the one you describe below. I wish to use
my XDS510PP-plus JTAG emulator on a PC that has no parallel port. Therefore I am
curious to know if you managed to find a way how to do that.

Disclaimer: I have not personally tried this.
I do not think that it will work without special software [I would
like for someone to prove me wrong] unless the emulator is accessing
via the windows pp driver [which I assume that the USB-to-parallel
port adapters hook. If SD's setup appears in the device manager, you
might be in luck.
If you try to use a USB to parallel port converter, make sure that it
supports ECP/EPP/SPP parallel port modes.
Anyone out there with some real experience with this??
