hi all, i want to interface an external Uart With DSK . i connected X_D0..D7 from the expansion connector of the DSK to the UART data lines .When i an writing some value to the Control Register of Uart i am checking the Status of Data lines Using CRO .but i could not find any variation on Datalines(DSK).is there any Setting i want to do to get the Datalies out side ?. is there CPLD configuration is required for that ? pls help me in this thanks bye |

Hello, I know that on the 5402 DSK, you have to tie pin 75 of the peripheral connector to GND in order to enable the 3.3V power supply to the daughterboard connectors. Perhaps you also have to ground this pin to enable the entire interface. I'm not sure. Try it and let us know.
