G.722.1 16kbps same as Siren at 16kpbs? - bvallikkat - Feb 14 6:00:00 2006

Anyone tried codec with siren? Some links say that g.722.1 at 16kbps
is same as siren at 16kbps. Any idea about how Microsoft does the
encode/decode???

Any thoughts or information on this is welcome.

bindu
