CELP - analysed and synthesized filter - dunjie17 - Jan 27 6:01:00 2005

hi,

I read that the "analysed" filter is a FIR
(stability is ensure) but the synthesized
filter is a IIR filter (inverse filter).
is that right? I don't see how it is so?
and if it is so, how is stability ensured?

rgds,
tk
