Does anyone have any recommendations on speech coding algorithms <2400bps? I need a low data rate codec for an amateur radio experiment I'm planning. I've been looking at MELP, but I noticed the DoD are looking for 600bps algorithms. I've also noticed TI are selling DSPs for toys with 1000bps MELP codecs. Can anyone give me pointers to papers/code? Peter |
