Dear Friends,
                       i have a quite hard equation that i need to solve, and i would like to
know if there is a matlab command that solves it:

the equation is like : 

( a - 1) X^2 + a X^(f+1) + a X^(-f+1) + (a + 1) = 0

note that a is a complex number and f is variant .. so it there any matlab function that may
solve this type of equations or it needs a specially program to solve it ?!
