Technical discussion about Matlab and issues related to Digital Signal Processing.
Hi everybody! I have a doubt about lsqcurvefit in my optimization program. Is the same problem that Francisco but using lsqcurvefit The transfer function is a nonlinear function and I need to know the best fitting using an initial vector. The (yi data) value is complex number because is Magnitude and Phase of the frequency response analysis (analyzer), and (xi data) is a complex number because is a value frequency complex (jw) All time that I change the initial values of the variable to be optimized, the result it is different. I am following the recommendation of always "run". It seems me that everything is ok, but this fact of that the initial values change the result of the objective function and the optimized variable takes me in doubt. What you find that occurs? Lsqcurvefit is not covering all the possibilities, all the possible interactions? Do you have some suggestion?. The optimization finished an the exitflag is 3, What can I do?. Please is urgent, Thanks and best regards. Ing. Alexander J. Valecillos Planificación e Ingeniería de Mantenimiento. CVG ALCASA. Zona Industrial Matanzas, Edificio Taller Central.
