Simulation of Cascaded H-bridge inverter in Matlab - tyenfen - Feb 27 9:06:57 2007

Hi all,

I was sucess to simulate the cascaded H-bridge inverter(5 level, which
consists of 2 H-bridge modules) using Simulink in Matlab.Actually I am
doing research in cascaded H-bridge inverter with fluctuating input
voltages.

When rectified DC input voltage is injected to one of the H-bridge
module, the output signal is as expected. However, when rectified DC
volatges are applied to both H-bridge modules, the output waveform is
severely distorted.

Anyone have idea why the above condition will occur? Is it because of
the limitation in simulating circuit in Matlab? Anyone have the idea
in solving this problem?

Thanks a lot in advanced.
