Clocks - Dirk Bruere - Jul 11 12:06:37 2008

I'm using a high precision xtal osc module for the audio peripherals
(12.288MHz).
Are there likely to be any problems if I use this as the clock input to the
ADI DSP with a 16:1 multiplier chosen?
[Instead of 25MHz with 8:1]

No.

The system will boot slower (but fast enough). You then adjust the PLL
at the beginning of your application program.
